WKI2600 Finally Replaced After 26 Years

We had a call from someone who has had their Waste King for over 26 years.  It had sprung a leak and needed replacing.  There are not many products that last this sort of time especially when the job is to aggressively grind up waste day in day out.  The robustness of the Waste King long outlasts the competition.  26 Years far outlasted it’s then 10 year warranty.  Now the manufacturers’ 10 year warranty has been increased to a Lifetime Warranty by the UK distributors – now that’s a first for a half hp unit.  Compare this to most other brands including the market leading Insinkerator which only gives a paltry 2 year warranty on it’s units.  That doesn’t inspire much confidence does it?
